About the Artist...

Amie Giordano is a native of Westchester and has studied and produced art in New York and the surrounding tri-state area for most of her life.

She approaches all things as a visual artist. Color, structure, design, proportion, light, message - these are all things that make up the visual space, and they are seamlessly interwoven in all of her work.

What surprises people the most about her method? Many of the skills that go into painting a fine art canvas are the same skills that go into creating successful business graphics and digital marketing campaigns - and the end goal is the same, to make a connection to all that view it; to produce emotion and a positive relationship.

In the marketing sphere this is called 'branding' and is geared towards driving sales. In the design world this is called 'setting the aesthetic' and is about spatial beauty and functionality. Amie believes that however you define it or quantify it, a powerful image is a powerful image and it can break any and all barriers... and that is the core that keeps her art growing through each trend, advancement and into and beyond the new technological arena.

Being a professional artist has taken her on a colorful path and she has donned many titles: Artistic director, designer, graphic arts specialist, multi-media marketer. Her constant is in producing remarkable visuals that effect people in a positive way.
